Sportin the DX with the high performance piston return springs, are you?
lol, pc cost me about 1200 i built it and made ALOT of mods to the motherboard, sound, psu, hdds, video card, etc.
projector was 350 (ebay) needed a new fan and i modded it for cooling too so about 400
the surround receiver was about $150.00 i cant remember the model but i think it's vsk-515-k (pioneer), then i took the sub pre out into a techwood receiver i had laying around and byamped it to the subs, component speaker were built into the wall when i got the house, the surround speakers were just some i had laying around, but i'm in the midst of putting new foam surrounds on some b&ws i have, then those will go in...I have a recording studio so audio equipment isnt scarce in my house.

haha just kidding, well not really but thats a pretty sick setup. but 1 question...why p4 and why your graphics card? not saying it was bad choice and i know its all personal preference but was it personal preference or was it a more technical preference?
Originally the computer started as a DAW (digital audio workstation) and intel was best for that. Also, AMD has a lot of heating problems, and I'm going for a very quiet computer, this is more silent than my ceiling fan.
Graphics card was simple, Pixel Shaders, not a word in nvidia's library yet, but ati has them down very well. I only run 1024x768 because i need a m1 to dvi adapter to run a digital signal, and the x800 could EASILY play almost anything at 1024x768 with all the shaders and filtering up.
I used to overclock it, then i realized i already have too much power for what ido anyway so i stopped, when i did, it ran 3.86 ghz stable for 3 weeks, and the graphics ran at 550mhz (gpu) and 570mhz (ddr2).
