i learned a trick back when there was the plain nintendo out and i think it was a running game and you had to alternate the a and b button. well my friend used a spoon to glide over both buttons and kicked ass. i started playing san andreas and used that while i was in the gym. just wondering if anyone else uses this method.

never heard of that method but it sure as hell would have saved the shit outta my thumb during that monster truck game for super nintendo where u had to use all 4 buttons at once in like a circular motion.
i dont remember the moster truck game for 64. you can you call the spoon method stupid. have you played gladius? when you have to alternate the buttons. max points everytime.
I press B and A together by using my thumb kind of sideways. I never had any problems with that. And to do like hadokens and stuff in Street Fighter I would use the middle joint of my thumb, not the tip.

Who remembers the 64 games where you had to rotate the joystick 360 degrees at 90mph.
But yes I know the spoon method. It always seemed... idk stupid.
The Mario Party games were bad for that, although they made it fun! The best were the games that involved tapping the A button as fast as you could. I'd usually clean up on those.

sometimes i put a little super glue and let it dry on my thumb. Saved my thumb from playing fighting games alot that need lots of fluid motions. That glue was like a layer of plastic. Oh and for mk test your might I guess I have some strange reflex but I could vibrate my finger really fast so I didn't need a turbo controler for the first few haha.
i doubt anyone remembers this, but i used to use the turbo touch 360 on nes. it was a flat pad instead of the + pad and it had turbo buttons of course. it was the shiznit till i played on it after eating pizza and got grease all in it.

omg are you talking about the NES MAX?
That was my ALL TIME FAVORITE CONTROLLER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I liked it because you could go back and forth from turbo to non-turbo without having to flip a switch. It had seperate buttons for each one!!!
And the + pad on it rocked. A lot of people didn't like it, but I loved it. It's what taught me to use the middle of my thumb for rolling instead of the tip of my thumb like everyone else used, and which eventually lead to me having no problem pulling off special moves in games like Street Fighter II for SNES.

i guess this would be like in Tiger Woods where you have to get the ball to light up red during your back swing....what i do is use my nose....... bounce it off my nose and as soon as it hits red use the analog stick and swing ....it works..but you look like a goof
i think i used my thumb....nail...or one of the finger's nails...anyway, i should've known about this spoon method. i could've beat everyone at the olympic game for dreamcast when we all just messed around with random games his brother burnt
