nah gigabyte isn't good ... im an Abit FAN .. but Shuttle motherboards are the best IMO. I have built a few computers with the AN35N ATX motherboard and I'm VERY happy with the board

I am in shock and aww. Gigabyte is the shit, you get a lot of goodies with your board, standard RAID, duel BIOS. But to each their own.

I would say Asus p4p800 (gigabit lan) $107.99.

out of those choices go with Abit. Gigabyte has given me lots of things ... especially repeated dissapointment.

when it said "new cpu installed! configure your settings" was that in windows when you started it up? If so its gonna do that no matter what motherboard you have. If you changed your hardware (ex: mobo, cpu) you have to reinstall windows, no matter what mobo it is.

if thats not what its doin go ABIT, i used to be a ASUS guy, but my NF7 changed that.

I don't know bout you guys, but I've tried Gigabyte, Abit, Soho, Chaintech and other, and finally I decided to stick w/ASUS

I have A7N8X-E right now, and it smokes crack, but if you're looking for p4 mobo, stick w/ASUS also

I had an FIC in my old computer that i sold to my brother. Runs like a champ. I have this ghetto one in my machine now, it sucks. I am buying a different FIC for my machine now.

Well than MSI makes one hell of a board

i've been running my ABIT NF7 for 4 months overclocked to 200fsb without a single problem, i'd highly recommend Abit

I beg to differ, I have had HORRIBLE experiences with them. Between MSI and Gigabyte, I know what brands not to buy and I've seen every retarded error a computer can make. I'll show you some funny pictures when i got home of some stuff me and 88Accord ran across
