nah gigabyte isn't good ... im an Abit FAN .. but Shuttle motherboards are the best IMO. I have built a few computers with the AN35N ATX motherboard and I'm VERY happy with the board

when it said "new cpu installed! configure your settings" was that in windows when you started it up? If so its gonna do that no matter what motherboard you have. If you changed your hardware (ex: mobo, cpu) you have to reinstall windows, no matter what mobo it is.
if thats not what its doin go ABIT, i used to be a ASUS guy, but my NF7 changed that.
I had an FIC in my old computer that i sold to my brother. Runs like a champ. I have this ghetto one in my machine now, it sucks. I am buying a different FIC for my machine now.
wow.....lots of advice but people aren't reading the first post rite!!!! anywayz....i decided to order the asus p4p800.....oh and that NEW CPU INSTALLED! thing was not in windows....it happened in the boot up screen after it detects the hardware like the hd and ram
jus got the mobo today and installed it.......like b4, that same message popped up but it works fine after putting the overclocking to 5%......haah....but if i put it back to standard.....it says "OVERCLOCKING FAILED! PRESS F1 TO CHANGE YOUR SETTINGS" or some shit like that.....but i'll leave it at 5% overclock for now.....

I beg to differ, I have had HORRIBLE experiences with them. Between MSI and Gigabyte, I know what brands not to buy and I've seen every retarded error a computer can make. I'll show you some funny pictures when i got home of some stuff me and 88Accord ran across
