Magnaflow muffler + Rear Lip : Part 2

as I mentioned about last week, I was worried about my magnaflow muffler hitting my Honda Aero Rear Lip
well I went ahead and installed my Rear Lip
and low and behold
the muffler was hitting the Rera Lip and making too much "hitting and rumbling" noise

here is a picture of it

So how do I get the muffler to stop hitting the rear lip?

thanks

Take it to a muffler shop and have them lowered the muffler.

Most of the time they will make the hangers longer, so your muffler will be tilted down...

other times (good) muffler shops will cut it out and create a 2" extension pipe and horizontally lower it down.

Get it? No? oh well

edit: my pics...

Me too. Try this link
Try going to a muffler shop and getting longer rubber fasteners. Those rubber things that the muffler hangs from. That should put some distance between the tip and the bumper.

Do lip kits add depth to the body of the car? Because my magnaflow muffler doesn't hit my OEM rear bumper.

You can lower it yourself... no need to pay money and have a muffler shop lower it for you!

Just put ur foot on the top of muffler and push down!!!
