Alternator?

Is the alternator on the dx the same as the lx and ex? And do you know the amp output? I want to get a bigger alternator but can't find one. I thought since the other trims have more electrics they might have a higher output. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

There are several places that will actually build a direct OEM replacement alternator for the 2001 Civic. Mr. Alternator quoted me a direct fit, all-new parts alt for $245, output 140 amps.
