i removed my cat and resonator i have an auto tranny i had the same problem it was really quiet taking it out made a difference not alot though but i changed my muffler and its alot louder i have an apex n1 style now
u wont get a deep sound by takin off the resonator. I had that done and it sounded like crap in my opinion. If you want the deep sound keep the exhaust WITH resonator and get a cold air intake!!! that will give you the deep sound you are looking for.
You feel any difference in accerelation or gains by taking out the cat and resonator, I have an auto too and I was thinking of doing it. What did you do with the o2 sensor on the cat.
