Putting a D17A2 into 99 Civic EX - Some questions

I was wondering what pieces from the D17A2 engine compartment I'll need to successfully do the swap. I read that you can use the ECU for D16 engine and the extra sensors that don't hook up aren't actually needed for the engine to run properly, is there any validity to this? Also, I think I'll need the motor mount setup, whole intake system, and exhaust manifold. Obviously, I'll make to sure have the alternator, water pump, etc. Will the tranny bolt up, I was told it will. Any information or tips you have will be greatly appreciated.
