i have an 87 honda crx and im wanting to do an engine swap wat should i use

ok i have an 87 honda crx and its got the nasty 1.5 carburated engine in it. now i was thinking about puting a b16 in it but i was also told i could put an h22 in it but thats above my budget. can any one tell me what would be a good engie to put in it? somethin that dosnt cost to much but is pritty decent in speed.

i also have a 1990 crx parts car for sale if any one is intersted. its got no motor or trani or tittle. but the car is in perfict shape no rust interior looks brad new its all dynomatted underneath engine bay is black powder coated. ill trade the car for an engine or for cash dont matter the car its self is i real good shape.

Laugh or not, a D17 would move that little Rex quite nicely.

I also have a crx and i had a d16, i pulled a B16a from the junk yard for 250 and rebuilt it for 100. Crx's are pretty light cars and you dont need to do much to make them faster
