first off hello to all the regulars and vets. this is my first car forum and my first civic. i have a silver 2007 Civic LX coupe i bought it brand new last year and it has just under 8000mi on it. i apologize for my ignorance and stupidity in advance; as i mentioned this is my first civic and my first car forum but not my first forum in general. i belong to several kawasaki forums and moderate/lead 2-3 of them. like i said this is my first civic so i have no idea how the generational name game goes with respect to what i have. my problem that i need help with ASAP is that my battery died (no i didn't leave anything on like a dumbass.) i am in the military and was away for a while so it died. the problem is that when i jump it the damn horn wont quit beeping. it sounds like i hit the panic button or something. yes i have tried hitting the panic button on all of my keys, i have tried to completely disconnect the battery and then reconnected it, i have started it and let it run for a moment, i have tried to push and twist every knob and button on the car and remotes, and i have let the battery run down again and jumped it for a second time with no results. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!! oh and it's completely stock i have nothing at all customized anywhere on the vehicle.
thanks zxbooxz aka "josh"

does that include hitting the 'door unlock' button, or the 'door lock' button?
i know when i try to spook a friend from afar by hitting my panic button when they are near the front of my car, i have to hit the 'door unlock' button to get it to stop...
the panic button is what you hit to set it off...supposedly if you're near your car, and you need help...
sounds like a warranty deal to me. dealer should cover tow and problem if ur within mileage. probably imobilizer related. u might try having key on when u plug battery back in

Ive had problems with my civic in that case. Do you have an aftermarket alarm? when i purchased my civic, it had the honda keyless entry AND an aftermarket alarm. hooking up the battery would cause the alarm to go off.
