Door Lock/Actuator Part Number for '03 Civic

The door lock actuator has gone bad on my '03 Civic EX. I've looked at the post on how to replace it, but am not sure what part numbers to order (I'm using Majestic Honda).

There are two parts labeled ACTUATOR ASSY., DOOR LOCK - 032 and 056. Do I need both of these? And do I need part 003 too (LOCK ASSY., R. FR. DOOR)? Part 003 looks like it's for the passenger door, though.

Re: Door Lock/Actuator Part Number for '03 Civic

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...ry5=DOOR+LOCKS

you want number 32.

the reason why you dont want 56 is because 32 is the whole actuator. #56 is just the actuator motor.

the motor itself is very very very very hard to take out. and most people who replace it, dont think its worth the hard work.

so ur answer is get number 32.

ur welcome.

Okay... I read this other thread here:
Door Lock/Actuator--Read Before Ordering Parts!!

...and the guy says he ordered what he thought was the actuator part, but it wasn't included... just wanted to check.

thanks.

Re: Door Lock/Actuator Part Number for '03 Civic

its 32. im sure.

CLASSIC DIY: replacing door lock assembly and actuator

the $17 dollar one is the #56 which is the actuator alone. #32 is the assembly part with the actuator in it already.

Re: Door Lock/Actuator Part Number for '03 Civic

Lock actuator

take a look at this as well.

if u are not sure, you can just order the WHOLE lock assembly, which is # 31. (i recommend) because for 9 bucks you get a whole new assembly)

#32 is jsut the actuator assembly

#56 is the actuator motor.

so get 32 or 31.
