Thermostat help

I have a 1995 Civic CX. It takes a long, long time on cold mornings before the heater will blow warm air. Even this morning, it was 30 degrees, and I drove 5 miles before it was even a little bit warm. The car has always operated this way. A year ago I changed the thermostat. It did not help. Can anyone tell me if I can do anything so I'll have heat quicker? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Re: Thermostat help

are your fans straight wired? what degree thermostat? and a quick fix, put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator, dont cover all of it, just half, u will build up more heat, but wont overheat, old timers trick, had to do it on my mine till i fixed the issue, good luck
