Actually, I have an 2001 DX Car, then I have bought a 2003 DX Cluster. It's a plug and play, and it works! Now I want to SWAP it to 2004 LX (indiglo), but it doesn't work! I have searched and searched over the net and either in this forum, but it only shows to swap from EX 2003 to LX 2004. But not, 2001 DX (remember, DX) to 2004 LX (remember LX).
I have the 2004 diagram, and actually, my 2001 DX got the same wiring diagram, unless 1 wire that I don't have anywhere on both blue or green plug, and 3 free away. Check out the diagram wiring below:
About the green black that I cercle, I can't find it anywhere on both blue or green plug??? What should I do then?
On the #18, I got a wire, but since on that diagram, it doesn't require anything, so I just pull out and let it free away.
On the #1, I got a PINK wire, but since here doesnt have anything, I just pull out and let it free away.
Samething for the #13.
Except these wire, everything on my 2001 DX Cluster is the same as the wiring diagram on those images.
So, what is not working?? I plug it, and get my car on, but nothing show. Either a small light, nothing, NOTHING!
Anyone can help out of this please?? Thank you very much!!!
you need the pink wire on the new cluster....... and you will have to extend your yel/blk from one side to the other, i forget. either way, there was only 1 wire i didn't use, i cut this one and capped it off and used it to extend the yel/blk. you can't just let any of the wires hang, because they could touch together or ground out or something. you will also need to plug that blu/red one into 14.... and the pink into 2... it clearly shows this stuff on the diagrams you have right there. you will need to take the yel/blk from the green to the blue.... i think you're making this too complicated...

Alright, I have followed the diagram, and now it's working....
But now I have 1 wire slot (#13) and 3 free wires.
1) a PINK that was in green plug located in #1.
2) a white-blue that was in the blue plug located in #18.
3) a white-red.
Since, the 3) white-red was taken from the blug to the green, then the original white-red in the green will be free away. (I cover it using tape).
Now, I still have 2 extra wire, but only 1 slot in the green (#13).
Which one do I have to put in the #13? The 1) or the 2)??
I try them, and here is the result:
1) PINK: If I plug the PINK in the #13, when the trunk open, it will show the alert light. Also, the CRUISE CONTROL light always on. Cuz my DX doesnt have a the CRUISE CONTROL. So, how can I do now to be able to show the trunk open alert without showing the CRUISE CONTROL light?
2) BLUE-WHITE: If I plug the blue white into slot #13, the trunk alert light doesnt work. And about the CRUISE CONTROL, when the light on the cluster is on at the **initial and first level, it shows CRUISE CONTROL. When it's on the 2nd level, the CRUISE CONTROL disappear.
** Initial: you just start the engine.
** First: you turn the bracket in the left side of your steering wheel 1 time.
** Second Level: you turn the bracket in the left side of your steering wheel twice. (for the evening light)
Also, it is normal that the light is always on? I dont know about the day, but I have the 04LX. Its always on!
Something wrong with my cluster??
Thanks for your help!

Blue/white goes into the #7 on the green plug. And the pink goes into the #2 spot on the green plug as well... I think you have been staring at these diagrams for too long.

I cant get the PINK into the #2 slot, cuz there is a PINK already that comes from the blue plug. Overall, I have 2 pink, 1 on the #19 of the blue plug, and another one on the #1 of the green plug. So I choose to plug the # 19 of the blue to the green of #2.
Maybe I have to connect these 2 PINK together and plug it in the #2 slot of the green plug?
Also, about the BLUE-WHITE, I think I got the wrong one. Its not BLUE-WHITE, whI forgot, will check it tomorrow morning, and let you know what color it is.
Alright, I have take some pics for you to understand now.
LIke I said before, it was not the BLUE-WHITE, but the WHITE-BLUE.
So now I have 2 FREE WIRE THAT ARE OUT.
1) PINK. (This pink is not from the blue connector, but originally from the green connector at #1 since before the DIY). Maybe an extra for DX Model?
2) WHITE-BLUE (This was originally from the blue connector at #18)
As you can see, on the 2004 VP Blue Connector #18, there is nothing, but on mine, there is. And that is the WHITE-BLUE.
So on the green connector now, the #12 is FREE. It was suppose to be GREEN-YELLOW, but I dont have any GREEN-YELLOW. So what should I plug into this #12? The 2)WHITE-BLUE or the 1)PINK?
