Body kit Inquiries

Ok so i got into a little drunk fender bender...... with a stationary pole. I was backing out and i cut my wheels to far and snaged it right on the passenger side. where the fender meets my headlight/front bumper. I live in Texas evacuated for that god damn hurricane, to austin ended up having to get rid of the right headlight casing and had to zip tie the bumper back on.... YIKES!!! i know. I had to drive around with out a front bumper for a few hours or so, so i think i lost part of the bumper clip. I orderd a new body kit for it. new carbon fiber fenders, carbon fiber durafelx bumper, side skirts, back bumper. What is everything that i need to be able to get the new front bumper on my car? how much is a whole new bumper clip (meaning everything needed to get it on there the way its suppose to be.

Ill take pictures of it the car before and after im sure you'll all love it.

Re: Body kit Inquiries

well the passanger fender is all fucked to shit so i decided to get a new pair , but uhhh yeah pretty much thats whats going on. I was going to put a body kit on it anyway, and why buy the oem stock bumper -_- when i would turn around and buy a body kit waiste more money and effort so this is what im doing how much do you guys think the bumper clip stuff would cost. i might have to replace the lineing of the fender well or whatever the casing around your tires you know

Exactly. I got a bodyshop quote in my hands for a new bumper but I don't feel like helping you.

Re: Body kit Inquiries

well, I'm not going to get into the debate which might/will happen very soon, but I will tell you, that when you get a body it, normally you would re-use as much of the stock hardware to get the new bumper on. As for me, I never do, they're just a bunch of plastic tabs and crap...I always go to the hardware store, and get some kind of screw and bolt and clasp, whatever. The body kit might come with some screws, but nothing that wonderful.

You can be charged with D.W.I. if you're asleep in the back of your car with your keys in your pocket. You need only to be in control of the vehicle. So if a cop had found you and woken you up, you go to jail.

depends on your location... aren't you allowed to drink in canada at 18?

here in California, i believe you're ok as long as the keys are not in the ignition...

Federal legal age for Canada is 18 and so is the case in most provinces. But a lot of provinces (most out east) have their own law of 19.
