I'm curious too...

I got some grey deck stain on my GSR leathers and haven't been able to get them off. Only tried mineral spirits and leather cleaner so far...

Lol, dont know what it would do, but paint thinner? My guess would be it would ruin the leather, but if you tryed it in a hidden location it may be worth a shot.

Re: How to remove paint-stain from leather

there's a chemical, don't really know the name, but i think it's for strata glass window cleaning solvent. it's alcohol based and it's really strong. but when i get stains (pen, marker, etc) on leather fabrics, i use that and it comes right off. they sell them at the painter's store.

Re: How to remove paint-stain from leather

prolly a dry cleaning chemical. i got headlight tar goo on my seats and my friend had some yellow chemical, it dissolved it completely out without harming the fabric

Re: How to remove paint-stain from leather

Dont try thinner or any harsh chemical without trying it in a unseen area it could destroy the leather, learned this at work the hard way when i had to detail a buick with leather seats that someone sat tires on in the hot sun. Burned tread marks right into the leather, ended up having to die the entire back seat. good luck let me know what works
