i didn't see a red/black wire from the bule connector so i wired it with the red one. i'll try to look for it later but i have to take my car to work now. on, and is it ok that i grounded the black wire to one the the screws? also, how do i know if i messed up my needles? thanks a lot.

It shouldnt be hard to find the red/black wire. The red/black lets you turn on the gauges with the parking lights but the red wire (if I remember right) requires you to turn on the headlights before the gauges come on.

Its ok to ground the black wire to the screw as long as there is bare metal.

You can tell if your needles are messed if they just dont work.

You know there's a diy done about this in the lighting forum. How do the needles look at night? Also, the needles should have been fine provided that you unplug the cluster, remove needles, put them back the exact resting position that you pulled em out, and them plug the connectors back in.

Looks good. Got any night shots? Also, did you add leds under the needles to make it brighter?
