Question Re: Need help with Radio Code

I have a 2000 Honda Civic and after I changed the battery last week the radio now asks for a code. I was unable to locate it anywhere (owner's manual, sticker in glove compartment etc.). As per the dealer I need to get the serial number for the radio which can only be obtained from behind the stereo and is asking for $150.

As this is a 2000 model the option to get the serial number using the keypads is also not available. Any help would be appreciated. Please help.

Thanks
