I have a 2002 Civic that I had to change the battery just last week...too damn cold here in Toronto...unfortunately, do not have the radio code. I got the radio serial 24123896 but don't know the radio code... could someone help me out?
When I lost my radio code and cleaned the battery terminals, I just called up the main line of Honda on their toll free # and all they asked was the Vin Number which is on ur windshield by the way, and verified my address and ownership name and in 1 min he gave me the code.
Lord...who knew getting a new battery would be such a darn headache!! lol
Here's the deal gang...have audio serial # from sticker inside dash B81019633
...tried the 1 & 6 button trick, no luck...removed neg battery cable...no luck...call honda...but b/c i bought used and not original owner, i have to fax them a bunch of stuff..grr...Pulled part of dash out to see if code on top of stereo..no luck..help!
Any way to get my code?? with just make, model, VIN and audio stereo code ...It's a Honda Accord 99'. Im broke & trying not 2 take it to the dealership to spend more money i dont have!!
All help appreciated!!
