Frank swap..price?

I know there are several threads on the swap...which I've been reading and doing research on. My question is, how much will it be for everything I need to complete the swap and what would be a good price if I paid a shop for it all (parts and labor)? seen that already but hoping someone with experience with this swap could give me an estimated price, seeing as its not just a regular k20 swap.

there are 2 deciding factors on this..

1. Depends how much you can get the k24 block for.. bare block can go as cheap as $500 to as much as a full k24 swap $3000

2. Depends on how much you can get the head for. I have seen them for as cheap as around $800ish to $1500ish... If you cant find a head only then you need to get a complete k20a2 which could run u up to $3000..

So Just the frank build itself in just getting the right head and block could cost you anywhere from $1300 to as much as $6000 or so..

This is not including the parts you need to do the swap and labor you will pay the shop.. read the DIY...

If i would you i would get a full k24 swap from a tsx and just swap it into the car and drive with that till you can find a k20a2 head.. then all you need to do once you find the head is swap it..

or you can do it the other way around.. get a k20a2 and swap it in and drive that around till you can find just a bottom end k24...

theres so much more to it thats why alot of people dont like responding to these.. because there are so many factors that could affect the cost... i have seen a guy buy a wrecked rsx where the whole motor was still intact and bought the wrecked car for $1000... the car flipped so you could imagine the damage but the engine bay was intact... then you got prices around the $3000 to $4000 price range from motor dealers.. theres just to much variation.. all we can give you is a ballpark

what do you wanna start with.. High HP or High Torque?

hp = k20
torque = k24

A frank gives you best of both worlds... id say start with whatever is the chepaest you can find
