Door Lock/Actuator--Read Before Ordering Parts!!

I am sitting with my door torn apart and a boxful of parts. It's 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon and my local dealer closed at 12:00. Now the problem. I followed the instructions in Streetglower's DIY for door lock replacement up to my present point. Now, I have a good look and realize that the actuator DID NOT come with my new lock assembly. I'm screwed. Now I need to put it back together temporarily until I can get an actuator. Everyone who has posted on this previously said that for about $30 you get the lock and actuator combo. Here's the line from my invoice: 72150-S5P-A01 LOCK ASSY., L. FR. DOOR 1 $30.71. Guess what--no actuator. Please be warned that you will need to order a different part. Majestic doesn't even seem to offer the actuator. On this page: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...gry5=DOOR+LOCK
I ordered part #2 when it looks like I actually needed part #3 which isn't listed as available. The actuator itself is either part#32 or #56 (L/R I guess), but neither one shows as available.

You do need part #3. It is possible to just replace the actuator but you're right about them not being available. Thats strange. Maybe you can call and find out if just the actuators are available. The phone number is... (1-800-341-4113) Hope it works out for you.

Done...finally

After half a dozen phone calls and a trip to a dealer 30 miles away who was open until 3 and it's done. He actually had the actuator in stock. Another $30 and I'm good to go.
