hmm, this would be fun to do if I could use a potentiometer and mount the dial for it in the cabin. So if I'm sitting somewhere at a stop light I can freak people out by changing the rate of my blinker..
Help....I cant get the Relay box open...and I dont want to break it....there is four "clips" and I only have two hands....one is for holding the box and the other is to open it.....
Also what type of Resistor is it....on the 150 rating but watts wise....like 1/4watt?

(sorry for bumping a really old thread but I wasnt sure if to make a new one or not...)
PLease....I need to know like now....My dad has some resistors but they are i think 1/4 watt and are 150kohms. I need to know how to open the damm bix before my sister comes back (its her car, but I drive it 99% of the time)
Originally posted by ph0ng 5. Now that you have sodered your resistor (I used 150k ohm - 5 finger discount from Fry's) in paralell with R1, I used electrical tape to protect the exposed components and just laid the resistor flat.
this is my favorite step. lol five finger discount
I don't know if people still read this but I'll post in hopes of someone knowing some people's that has some people's that rob's some people with information haha. Last week or so I changed out whatever it was they had on the RECALL for 01+02 civic headlight conponent. keeps busting out the bulb's but I have projector's H3 bulb's so my high and low beam has there own section. Anyway's somehow the fuse went out on the right headlight *that's inside the engine fuse box* the funny thing was but kick a$$, all my light's stayed on, my turn signal *which is on anyways* don't have that little annoying light* what is that for* I just took out the bulbs for my car. so the turn signals headlight and highbeams are all on but the highbeam is dim like it's not getting enough juice which is perfect but like I said the right headlight fuse busted but it the right headlight wasn't completely out .. it was on but dim just like the highbeam. so if anyone know's how to make this a *on purpose* would be nice. turn signal headlight and highbeam all on but having the highbeam set on low juice whatever haha thanks
sorry guys, I'm still tinkering w/ mine when I get time... being that I have LED turn bulbs in the rear, it really cuts down the resistance on the line, requiring a lot more resistance on the relay side to keep the signal from turning into a strobe light.
2k1SINCE00 - the only thing you will need to soder to the relay board if you use a POT, are the wires that parrellel the resistor.
I'll try to get some detailed pics up this week... being there are some interested people now.
ok so i got a 200k pot the part i dont get is that the pot has 3 terminals numbered 1,2, & 3. if i solder a wire from each side of R1 which terminals do i solder the wires to on the pot?
