Hey guys. I have a small problem with my RAZO RA65 shift knob that was made for m/t but I have a/t. My question: is there any way to get it modified to fit on a/t?

nope, the a\t has a buttom that needs to be pushed down in order to shift gears, and i'm sure ur next question would be something along the lines of "What if I push the button in permanently?" then you wont be able to get your keys out.

Sportin the DX with the high performance piston return springs, are you?
yes i know.. the RAZO shift knob that I have rightnow is just sitting loose (its pretty heavy - 300g) on the stick. I was wondering if I could use some kind of rubber or something to get it sit in place and to let the knob retract after i switch the gear.
its about the shift knob, not the shifter. anyways, i've chosen that knob because its pretty heavy and feels great, way better than every other knob i used to have.
your best bet is to get a auto shifter knob, that looks some what like the knob you have now. your going to end up pulling your hair out trying to figuer it out, and still wont work right.

hmmm i dont think you guys know what i mean by fixing/adjusting just the m/t shift knob to work on a/t. i'm not planning to take the whole thing apart, just wondering if anyone has any ideas of setting it in place. i will take some pics to give u guys an idea of what im talking about lol
manual on auto, cant happen, or u can put a rubber piece in between the knob and the shift rod, mine came with them, i think its pretty stupid pushing down the whole knob to shift gears
theres a bunch of nice automatic shift knobs, this is the momo automatico on mine
yes i know man, but i already have RAZO RA65. The shift knob is awesome, but just not made for a/t. So i was wondering if anyone has modified a m/t shift knob for their a/t.

thank you. u seem like u know what im talking about. yea, i was thinking about putting some rubber here and there. i dont think its stupid to push the knob to shift gear, just my opinion.
yea that should do the trick, just find some rubber hose and cut it size and place it around the shift rod and put the shift knob over it to make it a snug fit, although it might take a while to find the right size hose, my knob came with like 7 different sized hosing and only one worked right

yea i did, there the tinted series and i looooove the way they look, i had the non tinted ones but they looked cheesy when lit up, these match the gauges and look 100 times better
hey rhcp0801, did u get the gauges off ebay? i remember they were like $90 and now they're over $100.
yea i bought them off ebay for like $120 or something around there, never have seen them for around $90
^^^^ hahahahh yea i know im really white, i took the pic at like the beginning of december, my summer tan was over and i really dont want to tan when its 20 degrees out lol, would u like me to take a pic of my leg during the summer
