Nitrous Install DIY for 2001 Civic EX

Hey everyone! Got the new Honda Tuning magazine today and they do a Nitrous install on a 2001 Civic EX. Produced 43.7 extra WHP without a bottle warmer and a whopping 60 WHP increase when using a bottle warmer. All with a 50 shot boost!!!

I saw that today......it had my attention for a little while, but then I came back to my senses and realized I'd probably never use it (but it sure would be fun!!!).

Yeah.. Did you read the results on the DC Sports header, TCS and DAC only showed a 5 WHP gain ! That's pathetic !! $1,000 bucks for only a 5 WHP gain.

was that 210 a shot off the line, or what? if it was off the line that would be really kick @$$. just roast somebody off the line and have them trying to catch up.

in my opinion this is the most power u could get for the money u pay. im considering getting for my automatic instead of turbo because i only race when im forced to or for fun. so a turbo would be too much money and not worth. this kit isnt like fast and furious. it sprays automatically at wide open throttle. it also only sprays at wide open when the switch is armed. not bad in my opinion.

VCN 1000 rite? i'm deciding which to get between these two

delacampos,
When I talked with NX they said not to go over a 50 shot with our stock fuel pump. how long have you been running a 75 shot and what plugs do you run?

It was a 50 shot NX GenX kit. They did a nice professional install. They located the 3 activation switches in the tray in front of the emergency brake hande.
