^ i have noticed some on my cf hood also, but they are more towards to middle of the hood. Maybe that happened when i accidentally sat it upside down before i opened the box it came in. DOH!

Mine is almost dead in the middle above the grill. And I think there is a second one I didn't see before!

I don't think they can do anything for them, alot of people have them and Honda won't do much, I guess your gonna have to live with them. I don't have them right now and I hope I never do. You could talk to your Honda and they may help you out.

Well, I actually have dimples on the body as well at opposite corners. On the rear next to the trunk on one side and on the front fender. Can these be removed paintless?

Also, I want to auto-x my car and I have a front STB. If I get the rear STB and lower tie bars in the front and the rear, would I prevent them from getting worse or is it inevitable?

I have dimples as well, In the passenger rear and driver side front. My dimples aren't that big, although with a red car in the light the stick out like a sore thumb. Sucks.

sunroof dimples

Yeah, i noticed my dimples after i fell asleep one night, and ran over a curb.

I tore up a rim, so i think it may be the fact that the sunroof area seems to be a point in the frame that is not reinforced, and is susceptible to these dents.

my mods:

eibach sportline
tokico shocks
neuspeed sway bar

i've noticed that everyone that has dimples on their cars are the ones with suspension mods ie, sways and such that stiffen up the chassis alot oh and for the most part they're 01-02 civics, i think that's what's causing the dimples, making your chassis really stiff for normal daily driving isn't really practical i think.. i dont know.. just my observation i guess i'm probably wrong but yea

i HAD plenty but thats because Wilma dropped a 20+ ft Mangonia Tree on it.
When I live in Miami I parked on a flat drive way but since moving to Palm Bch i parked on a slope a constant driving in and out cuase dimples along the sides of it. The ones near ppls sunroof's is caused by Xtreme braking(/ weight distribution) from wut a tech told my boy with a 99 Si.

That makes some sense. A few years ago, I totalled my wifes 96 civic coupe dx by hitting a car that decided to stop on the highway. I was doing about 60 when I saw they were stopped, slammed on the brakes and the sunroof popped out. I remember that clearly because it hid the hood right in front of me before I slid into the stopped car.

Not saying that is completely the reason but this thread has me rethinking suspension mods on my 05. Really hate to get dimples on a new car

i dont think the suspension mods are a big factor. I had my dimples before i started modding my suspension.
