Hi-milage cars. Who's got 100k miles +

Just turned 100k miles on my '01. Not one problem. Still running the stock battery.

Best milage was about 450 miles on one tank. I've never had it go under 400 miles to the tank, even hauling 4 people.

Anyone else have a hi-milage 7th gen?

Only mainatance I have done is 1 coolant flush, 10 million oil changes, 1 tranny fluid drain and refill, had it flushed out with torque converter at about 50k, then changed it at 65k, and alot of brake changes. Only other thing is had a new throttle body installed when I sucked a shit load of water in. SO I have done very little mainatance and my car runs great.

Bought my 01 LX 5 speed sedan new on 12-13-2000 , car has over 102,000 miles on it. Still has the original battery and replaced front brake pads at 98,000 miles - still had plenty of life in them. Replaced front struts at 92,000 miles. Engine runs great!

WTF? change your oil every 30k miles. Are you sure you didnt mean 3k miles. There is no way your oil would last 30k miles. Well it could, but over time it turns into base oil, which means there are no additives.

I switched to Amsoil 5W30 at 90k miles. Drained the tranny at the same time, and added Amsiol ATF to it.

Changed the front pads once.

Thats it. I only floor it when needed, so maybe a couple of times a month. Most of my miles are highway.

Need to do the timing belt, water pump, drive belt change, but I'm just trying to push it some. The drive belts look good as new, so I don't see why the timing belt would be any worse. Also waiting for a Chilton book to come out, may do it myself.
