I have installed a few sets but none in a civic. Some cars are very easy and some just plain won't work properly. Your windows need to work flawlessly now with no tight spots or you could have problems. Make sure to keep the gear drive straight and even over the window shaft when mounting it.

I would also recommend to permanetly bond the gear adapter to the window crank shaft with Duramix or something like that. I have had the gear adapters strip out on Fords so I just do it as a precaution on all cars.
