Vtec controllers will help a bit, but there is not much for you can get other than basic stuff (ie headers, intake, exaust). A turbo is a good route for significant gains.
^^^^^^^^I agree with Master. Don't waste your money on power mods and be dissapointed with the gains (I/H/E give only like 5-7hp combined). I say do suspension stuff...like getting a 19mm RSX rear sway bar.
Yup, don't bother with bolt on's...I bought the Civic because it was the best car for the money...you can make it handle like a Porsche though for a few grand...well worth the money...
superchargers work well with hondas but if u only want 15-20 hp the i/h/e is the way to go
LMFAO. if you think I/H/E will give you 15-20 Hp, you are smoking crack. with that setup, you will be lucky to get even 10 HP. with each mod, the most power you might get is like 3 HP.
just looking for like 15-20hp. so you think the v-tec controller is good?
going for 15-20 HP will bring you back to the stock HP amount of 127, or a bit more. Your car comes stock with 127 HP, but at the wheels, you probably have about 110-115 HP. I think you should just keep your car stock and make it look nice.
Dyno tested the K &N FIPK II gives more torque and hp over AEM, Ingen, ets
its a whopping 4.2 HP gain. You notice it in the top end.
4-2-1 headers will give you some HP but not untill the 4,100 rpm range to top end.
Exhaust will just change the sound. No difference at the track was made with a free
flow cat back exhaust. If you do get aftermarket or custom job get 2.25" mandrel bent piping.
VTEC controller should be adjusted while you on a dyno to get a little more power.
Getting lighter rims (forged alluminum) will help some...don't go much wider though.
You can have JETCHIP flash your ECU...it will make your car a little quicker,
downside is you have to use middle grade gas or higher.
Also I am not sure, but their might be an aftermarket torque converter that will give you a little more go.
Quickest way for power is Turbo or Nitrous wet kit.

i never sid it would i just meant if thats all he wants to get out of it then he should go with basic bolt ons
all u need is k20a2 swap and go n/a already provin on sites like clubrsx to hit 13's and 12's all day and skunk2's drag team have been hittin 10s in there rsx-s so i would go wit k20a2 swap plus there still much more r&d for the k20a2 its only gonna get better
and yeah they dont make any supercharger and better off goin to turbo then supa
