2009 EX. How do I reset the oil change notification light/mileage?
My 1st DIY oil change. I like a vegie-based oil like Castor Oil or a parafine-based oil like those from Penn.

2007 EX. How do I reset the oil change notification light?
Easy. Turn the car to on. (Not start it) and select the button that changes the mileage thing to ur oil percent. Then press and hold for 10 seconds or so. Then it will blink. Then relese and press agin and hold till it said 100 percent and the lights should go away. Hope this help=)

Speaking of changing your own oil. Has anyone tried to use "Rhino Ramps? They sell for about $35 bucks, at most stores. Its basically a hard plastic ramp you can drive your car up on to. My two concerns are:
1. Will the Rhino ramp remain still, as you try and drive your car up the ramp?
2. Do these Rhino ramps, provide enough clearance for you to get underneath your car?
Thanks.
ehhh, some people swear by them. i wouldnt trust my life to them lol. a heavy duty floor jack and a pair of jackstands (one for each side) is the safest bet imo.

I currently have a new 2007 EX coupe. Am having a quick change or Walmart change my oil. I buy the oil I want from Walmart (10w20) Syn. and take it to where i'm going to have it changed. They get to charge me for a filter and labor and deduct their cost of 30w oil, usually $5.00. I get a receipt and it stays in warranty.
Also, just received a post card from Valvoline for $15.00 off and an engine guarantee of up to 300,000 miles. If I had an SI, I'd know what I'd do

i have those ramps they have been working fine for me
jack stand work on dropped cars if you jack from the control arms or the front frame support. They make slim jacks for dropped cars. Im dropped 2.5" up front and 2.25 rear and my jack works just fine.
