To use the vtec setting in the emanage - try this:
Quote:
if you are using the emanage to control the engagement point you will need to connect a resistor in parallel with the emanage's VTEC input. Without the resistor the ECU will think that the VTEC solenoid is faulty/not connected and will throw a CEL. Use a 820 ohm 1W resistor.
I don't have an EX - so I can't do this. But this is the supposed magical fix....

If you didn't know what error 14 was, it is the vtec input or output (can't remember which) error that is fixed by disconnecting the vtec wires from the emanage. I have been running like this for about 6 months now and my car pulls very hard on only 5 psi. I did have a problem when I put a wide band on the car and tried to make fuel adjustments.....it seems like when you adjust the fuel rich/lean the wideband will show adjustments but after about 10 seconds they start to go back to what they were before.....anyone noticed this? It seems like the stock ecu is fighting the changes.....

Can't read your map sensor voltage? Sounds like installed wrong. Double check your wires on that. Post up your results.

What would OBD2 have to do with it? I am running a fully functional E-Manage on my 7thgen Turbo'd Civ daily driven with minimal to no problems at all. Not to mention all of our cars are OBD2.....Opto is running it fine too.
