Headlight bulbs for the Civic are 9003 (H4). Exchange the ones you received for the proper fitment. When in doubt, check the manual.

incorrect. The light bulb size for the civic 04's are 9006 for low beams. They redesigned the headlights of the civic for the 04. Only the 01-03 civic uses the h4. So you have the correct size, when in doubt check the manual or just look at it personally.

yeah i know how you feel. i bought h4 mtecs because everyone on the forums told me its h4...then i try to put it in and discover its 9006 like my old camry was. Since i bought it on ebay it really wasn't worth returning because of the cost of shipping so its was $20 wasted. Then another 20 later i had my 9006 mtecs in there, way better then stock except when it rains. i'd also suggest getting a clear bulbs or hyper whites for your front turn signals, it makes your headlights look really clean when that amber bulb is gone. oh yeah the turn signal bulbs for 04's are 1157 just in case.

all the civics from 01-03 use 9003. Only the 04's use 9006.
