Coming soon I guess. I'm gonna try something tonight that hopefully works. It involves making the cluster glow a certain color at night. I'm gonna do blue obviously. I'm trying to make the whole thing a bit brighter so it looks nice at night. Right now the numbers aren't too bright, but if there's a glow all over, I think it would look pimp. This does not involve changing anything inside the cluster.
I'm gonna write it up so that it's super easy to do, even with a stock cluster. For the coupes, you could do a red glow to match the numbers. Well...be back at nighttime

when you say glow, do you mean simply brighter lighting or the actual face of the gauges having illumination? if its the latter, then it reminds me of BMW gauges. oooo BMW....
then again, i may have no idea what you are talking about so hehe, im really lookin forward to this!!!
Like I said, I'm not touching anything inside the cluster. It's gonna be around it. Hopefully this works like I think it will. My old indiglos were so bright that it lit up the whole cluster assembly. I wanna try and get that same effect using more EL light. I've already done this from before, but now I'm gonna try making it brighter.
Notice the position of the loose wire on the bottom. When the bezel is placed back on, the light shines through the cluster without the wire being visible. You'll get a better idea when I actually do it and take pics tonight.

Okay it's done I guess, but not all that bright. I'm waiting for it to get totally dark and then I'll post pics. The blue EL wire is not very bright, and I wrapped it once with 5 feet of it. I have 15feet behind the numbers. I think it's only gonna be visible in complete darkness. I bet a different color like white, red, yellow, etc would be brighter.
I originally got this idea from mom's 92 accord. It has indiglo numbers and white needles. It also has a white light shining down from the top, so you get light in the entire cluster to see the needles and stuff. It's quite cool, but our clusters are different. In the 92, you couldn't see the top lighting unless you bend your head completely down and look up. Ours you can see everything.

Okay, I basically wrapped the EL wire around the very edge of the cluster, so light shines in through the plastic edge. I used regular scotch tape to hold it on
It looks pretty good. The bottom halves of the rings are lit up now, but the pic I took didn't show it very well. It looks like the whole plastic shield has a light glow to it. With the bezel back on though, you don't see any wire--just the light from all around. I like it, but brighter would have been better. I won't post a night pic cause you really can only see the difference in person. Looks cool anyway.
