3 weeks??? thats crazy! I installed mine in like 10 miuntes, and didn't even need a fuse. I just wried them into my parking lights which are already fused. If something blows, I'll just replace that fuse. Why did it take you so long?

thanks pogi

the reason why it took me so long is cuz finding the firewall was too hard. theres supposed to be one for the clutch assembly (my car is an automatic) but the hole for the firewall is sealed up with a metal cover. so it took me awhile to find another one. and plus im installing these leds in sections... like ill do one thing then im like ahhhhhh ill just finish it tomorrow. and ive been saying that everyday for 3 weeks. so now all i have left is just connecting the fuseholder.

plus connecting it to a switch is a lil more time consuming. i just wanna be able to turn them off whenever cuz i dont wanna get a ticket.

wow 3 weeks....and I thought I took hella long with mine...about 5 hours. I have an auto also and the clutch assembly hole is sealed for me also, so I went through the grommet on the passenger side....I also just kinda looked around at things and fiddles with things.

Congrats on getting it done.

washer lights = ghey

get a DVM, find a switched 12V source and have fun. if you're trying to wire them into your parking lights, just splice into the harness under the hood, but make sure you tuck the wires away neatly, i'd hate to see them get pulled into your alternator belt or something like that...

Re: what fuse to put for the LED windshield washers?

if you use the parking light as a power, you dont need a fuse (oem already has one)

While the use of the search button is appreciated... you're not supposed to post in the ancient threads. things like rice washers have gone by the wayside... for good reason. Stop bumping these old threads up.
