ok... i got the left vent right vent and all the trim on the gauges... now i'm stumped cuz i can't get the center trim piece out (the DIY is VERY unclear)... and i can't get the door trim pieces out, i took out the 2 screws and thats as far as i got... i don't know how to get the door handle out of the trim piece... help please [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

well your also unclear about what it is that is causing the dilemna but here goes my understanding of your problem...


The center trim piece is easy, first like the DIY says, locate the trim panel with the 12V socket. Take a flat head screw driver with a rag over the tip (so you don't mar the trim piece) and pop her off. You'll find (2) 8mm bolts in there. unscrew them, and then very carefully pry out the center console with your fingers. 'Nuff said.

Door handle...
hrm...

Now after the 2 screws are taken out, carefully pry the trim piece off. badda boom badda bing!

i did pry it out but the door handle won't separate from the trim piece..
