Hi guys just wanted to say I completed this DIY project and got some great results! I smoked my 2000 civics stock taillights and I left a picture as an attachment. Big thanks to hustlelikem0fo!

you can use something like plast-x polish to slowly strip it off. if you use harsh chemicals like acetone/paint thinner it will permanently ruin the plastic. you may be able to get away with using isopropyl alcohol slowly and then switching to plast-x when you get close to the plastic.

I just used lacquer thinner when I took mine off the first time(too dark). It worked great and left the plastic good as new.

just finished doing this project and it looks great. i think i could have added another coat tho. its close but not as dark as i wanted. too late now since i already added a clear coat.

sry the pics arent the greatest it was from my phone but what do u guys think?
