Just installed my AEM Cold Air Intake into my 5speed LX coupe on Sunday. Easy and oh how I love the sweet sound of success

Made a DIY page, enjoy!!!

Good DIY post. I thought you have to remove the bumper to install a CAI, maybe it's just for the Injen one? I guess going under your car is a lot easier for filter changes/cleaning.

Thanks guys.
I did it mostly out of the constant amount of requests for one. I guess people like to see how it's done before they try... at least I do

glad this helps you all out. I just followed the instructions, and took pics to go with!

I emailed Derek to put the link on the main DIY section. Hopefully he can do this and make it easy for the rest of you who don't know how to search.

May want to also include notes that this info will work for a SRI as well, just don't use the instructions for the second pipe, as an SRI doesn't have one. But the rest of it, removing the stock parts, and attaching the O2 sensor and first pipe mount, is all the same.

you need to cut the inlet pipe on both sides of the template that is wrapped around the pipe and just put it on
