will this work?

take a header, cat and an exhaust (all aftermarket)for an ex also changing the front sway bar and mounting it all up to an lx? in theory this works right? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

You might need some custom welding and shaping for the exhaust piping. The rest should be fine.

yes that is correct but u dont need to change the sway bar, if the pipeing is all going to be custom. only if ur going to use the stock pipeing from the ex, and if u have a 2dr lx. for the 4dr lx u dont need to change the sway bar if u do a ex conversion.

why would you want an EX exhaust system...no gains in exhaust for our cars.
best gain is in the intake...get the K&N FIPK II it is a proven winner!

im not trying to get an actual stock ex exhaust but a RSR catback and the cat at the header is very restrictive in terms of any power being made...the old civics in 88 came the same way it frees up quite a bit of power...im staying away from intakes right now might end up doin something as far as a super charger in the future if JR comes out with one.... if not i may just go all motor again like on my old hatch
