aiming stock headlights higher?

hi! i was wondering if there's a way to aim my stock headlights higher? cause my car is too low and my headlights aims too low that can't see as far... can i do it myself or do i have to take it to the dealer to do it? or can it even be done? thanks! well first off.. im gonna flame u and say USE THE SEARCH BUTTON..
now im gonna tell u how to do it.. pop the hood.. look down at the light... theres a thing that almost looks like a sideways gear on the back of both lights.. next to it in the plastic is the Up or DOWN arrow.. take a philips head screw driver.. stick it in the teeth of the gear looking thing and turn in the direction that u wannaa go

well i did try searching but it's mostly aiming the tyc projector headlights, which is not what i'm asking for...

and i'm not sure if there's a difference between the american version civic and the canadian version... cause i dont think i have the thing where u can turn to adjust the headlight...
