Sweet Deal. Ill have to try that... Id do it now but its 3.00am... My family would wonder why I was fooling around outside... weirdo... haha

So, hold them down for 7 seconds after you turn it on? To full ignition?.. ok...

Thanks for the tip!

The first couple of times I tried this, I thought it hadn't worked---
because the A/C was still turning on with the defroster--then I
read the threads again and realized that it would still do that
but I could now turn it off!

I love it!

When you turn on defrost, then puch the A/C button and it should go off.

I just tried it and it works.

Great DIY I was sick of the AC on when I wanted to defrost... especially If you don't want to run the AC and smoke at the same time, with the window down the car can get kinda cold...[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]
