B4 i get started

if I am not mistaken it will attatch to the bolt hole that you take out right around here to help support the lower half of the intake

haha, I just happened to have the pic for the before and after, I kept the airbox so I could put it on for long trips and when I eventually sell the ride

ps: I got that same kit, well sorta ... but I ran into problems with the filter not fitting due to it hitting my tranny... I have noticed that the "real"AEM intake comes with an extended neck on the filter. let me know if you encounter the same problem. thanks,

i dont now how it goes on....But now that i think about it...I think you have to drill a hole or something to mount that bracket to the intake.....BUT id be smarter and use JB weld glue

well my intake isnt exactly the same.....its a different brand. It looks like its all the same pieces though...the two silver pieces are EXACT matches so it should be the same in principle...thanks for the replies...i'm gunna see how it goes

I used to have an intake like that...And i never used that mounting bracket...I just stuck it on.
