hey guys
My friends and I are planning a miniature meet up where i live
i dont think its going to be anything big, but just giving a shout out to those that want to see a meet
its our last going away type meet, so if more people come, the marrier!
Im going to socal to college.. damn and i had so much more stuff i wanted to do to my car!!!
its going to be in San Rafael, marin (north of SF, cross the GG bridge, 15 mins west of the raceway)
-----Official Directions------
from highway 101 south
go until you reach N. San Pedro Road exit
take it, and stick to the left lane, you will take an immidiate left at the stop light
follow the road until you pass a UPS post office
follow the road even more and you will hit a big parking lot with a park... good looking cars should be parked in it
(if you see the pond to your right, you went too far!)
from highway 101 north
Take N san Pedro Road exit
stick to the left lane and take a left at the stop sign
keep on going straight and you will hit a cross walk with a light
turn left at the light
keep on going strait until you reach a pretty good sized intercection with lights
turn left at the light
to the right you will see a UPS post office
follow the road even more and you will hit a big parking log with a park... good looking cars should be parked in it

we're not hoping for much, but if you and friends wanna roll by and check it out, its a pretty big parking area, so we'll kinda have the "car show" mentallity going on.
its going to be a variety of rides ranging from hb civics, other generation civics, to sr20det (redtop) swapped 240sx's. just a buncha friends meeting up.

it will be a meet where it starts at 2PM, but we wont end it until everyone leaves
so im guessing its going to be pretty late
you guys dont have to stay the whole time, but it might be cool to meet new people from other forums and chat on how they tuned their cars and what not.

On a Friday? I know some peeps got school. I hope you choose a wise time for people who have to come from long distances. No one wants to be stuck in Friday rush traffic.

the meet itself is suppose to be from like 2-8, and coming up from the south to the north from SF, there is no traffic (i think). so might be good afterall?
but saturday might seem like a better day for all of us, ill reply with new info ASAP

he told me that since there might be some drifter cars showing, we might go on a run down some windy roads
seems like fun, but i dont know how our FR guys are going to hold out, if you want to challenge some RWD's on a course i guess your more than welcome? lol
me personaly, am not going to go on the run, i had a nasty accident doing some initial D wannabe stuff.. lol

Bleh, drifting/powersliding is an expensive hobby. No matter how skilled your are you have to expect to crash your car, especially when you don't know what the hell you're doin.
but geesh! dalton's car is SO FUN! hahaha, he's taken me on a few lil drifts here n there, nothing forrrealz yet... but i have gone on a mountain run wit him. LOTS OF FUN!
there's a definte difference in the RWD vs. FWD. i enjoy driving his car (sr20det also - he's got the plates to prove it.. but a lil backwards - TED02RS). looking forward to my AWD!!!
