Front looks good, but the rear looks like woah. Is the after picture right AFTER you set it down from being lowered? Or did you guys get to drive the car around for a bit at least? I'd like to see some more lata but I know I'll get a chance to see the ride later on.

yea we took pix right after it was droped, we didnt take it for a drive
Yeah, now that I've driven it around, my back drop looks like my front. It evened out and went a tiny bit lower when i put my beat back in my car. Just handles horribly right now cause of the tie rod and cuz my alignment is off.

I have the same wheels but with 215/45/17 and I looked at it to see if there would be any rubbing and it seems that in the back there would be if I lower it over an inch.

205-45 or 215-40 is the largest you can go on a 17x7 without worrying about it rubbing. 215-45-17 will rub, but that depends on ride height, camber angle as well as how far down your car rebounds from your struts when your wheels go over bumps. The cheapest, and easiest way to fix it is with the camber kit, however the more negative camber you add, the faster your tires will wear on the inside. I've yet to figure out just how negative the rear wheels need to be for a 215-45 tire. On the plus side, your car can take turns better with more negative camber. The only other downside I can think of with choosing the other tire sizes is the lack of tire selection.

to fit 215/45/17 w/o any rubbing i think the camber would have to be about -1.5 degree off or a lil more

same happened to me ...... I told you to be careful with the tie rod end piece....
205/45/17... lol ( i think, cant remember, my last tires were either 45 or 40s), we'll see tommorow...
But anyway, went to Exact Motorsports and dropped my ride off their (while i was at work) so they could fix it. John fixed the bolt that was jacked, but he said that the strut bearings might be messed up so I hafta get new ones. When i turn it all the way to the left or right (like backing up the car at an angle or turning), it sounds like something is thumping which ever way I turn it to. I dunno, weird, he's gonna check it out Monday again though and see what's going on. Drives good, but my alignment is totally off lol.
BTW the way, mad compliments from people who swinged by the other day and mad props at work too hehe. It finally settled in, looks nice.
