Ya we got a bit defensive. However, he was asking for a little trouble posting what he did on civicforums. What If I went over to a mustang forum, posted the same thing, and put "civic wins!"? Not to mention, starting a thread and then posting it's topic sucks.
LOL..why so serious? I had three Cobras one white two black, but I sold one Black Cobra to buy an Si. I am not bias, I have best of both world..Speed and cornering.
I want to openly apologize to svtleen. Thanks for being a good sport lol

Is that last one a centrifugal s/c or a full turbo? I wonder how the roots type compares to the centrifugal s/c. Anyhow, I went to the annual mustang show at Santa Margarita Ford a couple weeks ago and there was a lot of nice stuff there. A bunch of them had their dyno sheets posted and it seems relatively easy to make over 500whp with these large V8's and a s/c. What was neat was there was one mustang, the previous gen, with Tein coilovers, Fujitsubo intake, and Volks. The hardcore domestic guys hated it. Sorry for the long post. Nice Cobra BTW.
Is it better to turbo or s/c a mustang just curious. I guess it depends on what you want to do but I just haven't seen many turboe'd domestics besides srt-4's and the cobalt ss.

The last pic is my 99 Cobra and I added a centrifugal s/c, since its centri style it boosts the same way like a turbo would toward the higher rpms. If you like instant boost the roots style is more fun to drive cause boost will come on fast at 3K rpm. Glad to hear that u are like me appreciating different cars too.

I've heard Turbo is the way to go and make much more power on the top end than any other roots style s/c, but I believe the Turbo is not CA smog legal so that's a big drawback for us CA resident to even think about. I met a Korean guy with a turbo mustang and it pull away fast on the freeway.
