Re: RS-R Exhaust dB level?

Ok.. So i went to fullerton college to get my muffler tested for the 2nd time. this time they still reved @ 4725, (I think that's the law or something) and i got 97.4!!! .4 less than the last time. haha .. so my final option is to go back to stock, which i dont have. so does any one got stock catback for sale? Or does anyone know if stock ep3 or 2005-09 si catback fits on my 2004 em2? Thanks guys..

Re: RS-R Exhaust dB level?

Ok guys.. so there is the result.. I got my exhaust system back to normal thanks to johnbt23, and i got it signed and inspected by the ref station and got it passed. So today, i took it to the Fullerton superior court to ask how much will my ticket drop to. But the clerk said "It seems like officer did not mark it as correctable violation." and i was like WTF... Officer told me that i could fix the muffler and he even checked the "YES" on the correctable violation box. So im really confused now.. I thought 'FIX-IT' mean you can fix it and i dont have to pay fine for it. Well this is getting out of hand, so i asked for change in venue and "Written Declaration". Clerk told me that I cannot change the venue, and written by declaration will be mailed to my house. Plus i thought that when officer pull you over, he must ask me for the Decibel sound of my muffler, but he only said, "It sounded pretty loud"... So i guess i can use that against him too. But again, this is getting out of control and I personally thing most of the cops are just plain dicks. (some cops are actually generous and humane." ...

Re: RS-R Exhaust dB level?

that sucks to hear man...cops are never *nice* to imports simply because they see us as easy targets to meet their quota. what else did u get written up for? and normally fix it means u just pay the little fee for like $10 or something. but i dont see why the clerk would say that since he did check the YES box... hope you get this cleared quickly =\
