just started working here

just started working at www.silenxusa.com they make parts for comps. i bought a power supply, heatsink, 4 fans, hd silencer for my comp and let me tell you. it sounds like its turned off. its great. well anyways, let me know if you guys want to buy some stuff. i'll say its for me get it for cheap and give it to you guys. performance wise these are awesome and they are friggin quiet. loving it. power supplies should turn on regardless of how its hooked up right? cause i have two comps and neither of them turn on. I think it might have been a badd surge protector...

how much can you get a power supply for?

matters if you want the regular , the pro, or the fanless luxor. what are your specs? 1 hd, what video card etc. etc. i'll say its for me and get it for real cheap.

They will turn on unless you didn't connect the power wire and reset wire from the case to the motherboard correctly or if you didn't properly ground the motherboard from the case.

hey, im builing my little sister a pc as well. I'm planning on running a 2800+ or a 3000+ amd athlon xp processor with a gigabyte rz series MB. 1 G of ram, or a 512 stick xms series kingston or something with low latency. 2 harddrives, one 20GB for the OS, and a 80 or 120GB for programs and such and such. Graphics card im trying to decide is either an ATI All in wonder or an AT 9000 series. I do need some fans, quiet ones and big ones, ball bearing? A power supply, 450 watt with at least a few ata connectors. a CPU fan and heatsink...whatever you can hook it up with i'll buy!
