I just stopped by my Honda Dealership about aftermarket parts. They told me that as long as I have the original part including with all of its bolts and all...the warranty will not be voided. So far I had asked them about tha CAI and they said, "As long you have the original part, then you're fine but if that CAI does anything to your engine, for instant like being blown up, then your warranty on the engine will be voided unless you place the original part back in, then they can't say anything."

Mitsubishi are biotches with the warranty voiding thing on their evo line. i swear, anything we do is BAD, and it will void the warranty...the only thing i dont like about the evo. i mean, they void the warranty w/ a blow-off valve...boooo!!!!

see thats just stupid... why void it if an aftermarket blowoff valve is put on? i mean, its not gonna harm anything... see thats what i was talking about originally. some companies are asses about it and some you can get away with a few mods, that dont harm the car.
actually some aftermarket evo BOV do harm the engine (engine gets too choked with fuel or leans out).
Also you have to look at Mitsu's finnancial position right now, can't really blame them for not wanting to spend more money on repairs if they don't have to pay.
