Official 2nd Annual 909/626 MEET: *December 6, 2003*
Okay here we go gang! This is THE official thread for the upcoming and exciting meet i'm going to have before the end of the year. If you went to the first one then you'll know what to expect at the meet and how I expect all of you to be throughout the meet. If you're new to the meet, i'll be going over everything once again. This meet is going to include a first meeting point to take color coded pics of our vics... some good thai food....a night cruise through the 909/626 area for an hour or two and we'll end up back around the same starting point for some picture taking/night time show/boba/pool/chit chat. Afterwords everyone can decide what they wanna do, but last time by that point of the meet most people were tired for some reason haha. Alright enough blabbering from me...heres the meet!

6:00-7:30pm: Eats at THE BOAT(Thai restaurant only about 6-7$ for a full meal)
7:30-9:30pm: Cruise around the 909/626 Area and stop at about 3 places to chill/talk/take pics
9:30-on: Head back to Life Plaza area and park underground...chat...take more pics...grab some drinks....shoot some pool whoever wants I'm HOPING THIS YEAR THERE ISNT A FRIGGIN WEDDING IN THAT PLAZA LIKE LAST TIME so parking sucked last year hahaha.
^^^That is basically what I plan for this meet. Just something for everyone. Talk to each other and swap car stories or anything else. More of a "social" type of meet. As for the food...last year most people basically reached an agreement that THE BOAT was really good and great for the money. They have all types of noodles, rice, chicken, etc.. etc... I hope you all sign up for eating at THE BOAT so we can all sit together and get to know each other better before heading out onto the streets. I am going to have a separate list for those who are coming to the meet and those who want to eat also. If anyone has anything to input from what is here so far then lemme know so we can get this meet running smoothly.

1) It WAS gonna be at ikea but stuff came up so now we will have it at the park. No problems there. You still get off at Azusa avenue off the 60 freeway and mapquest will help you out if you have probs lookin for the park. NOt too far from the old ikea.

2) THE BOAT - We will eat some dinner here and chill for a bit. We cant go cruising on an empty stomach! haha This place is right off the 60 Freeway Right across the freeway from the old Ikea. Get off at Fullerton exit and its in the Diamond plaza right next to the freeway. For those going straight to the restaurant PM me and i'll give you better directions from where you're coming from but for the rest who met up at Ikea we'll have a couple group leaders and take you all straight there.
3) Cruising : mainly consisting of half-freeway half surface streets....It will take about a total of an hour or two(cause of a few stops i have planned) and whoever needs to leave make sure you let someone know so we dont wonder what happened to ya. I'll have a map for everyone.
4) Life Plaza: Chill/take pics/chat/get some drinks/shoot pool/do whatever haha This is basically the same plaza where we originally ate at THE BOAT...we will park underground and get some dope pics.
If anyone wants to come later in the meet make sure you get my # or someone who will already be at the meet so we can let you know where we will be depending on how time goes. If you need more info you can always hit me up on AIM at "SDGuY909" and i'll clear things up if you have questions.
Here is the roll call for EVERYONE who is going to the meet and below is the second roll call for whoever wants food at THE BOAT. I need to set a reservation to see how many peeps to make sure we got enough room. Last time was about 20-30 chairs for our group
Below let me know if you're in for the meet and/or food. A WEEK before the meet i will send out PMs to everyone on the lists to stamp a CONFIRMED next to your name so we all know who is in for sure. Its okay if you have friends who want to come also but i dont want this to get out to say that all members of every board is welcome. I dont feel like being responsible for those other people. Expect all of you to drive smart, be social to everyone, and hope you have a good time. Hope this is enough info for everyone and lets get this thread going!

As all of you can see, the list is becoming quite large now and i'm planning on updating it a few more times so it will definitely 60+ signed up on the Roll call List. If you decide to want to eat with us then you must let me know somehow. PM would be better so to make sure i know. I will be sending out the PM confirmations for the meet in another week or so. Make sure you read the DISCLAIMER I will have written on the PM. After the fiirst meeting point you all know a majority of us will be at THE BOAT to eat dinner. Thereafter will be the cruise.
Whoever decides to go on the cruise will be asked to sign a waiver form.
Even though we wont be cruising at high speeds or going crazy...i just want to make sure i get this from everyone because I do not want to be held responsible for anything that happens during the cruise. There will be a large number of cars...and with fixed up imports...each person will have the tendency to rev hard and show off. I will have 3 Groups of cars set up for the cruise and maps will be handed out.
