I was actually able to get Sunday the 6th off from work as a personal day, so if you guys aren't tired of wrenching on Saturday I'd be thrilled to get me suspension done on Sunday. If Sunday ends up working out better for everybody that would be a bonus. I'd love to get some work in on the Turbo install too. The UPS man delivered my Tokicos today so I have everything I need for the suspension. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Nice. I think Saturday is the longest Im gonna be able to wait. It sucks just lookin at everything. I want to feel it and see it installed. (im starting to think do it this weekend, hehe. But I dunno, Probably not since I wont have enough time).

But next Sunday Im down to help with suspension. If thats for sure, Ill let my neighbor know that both days we will probably need his lift. Im gonna need it for my car for some if the install. But Les (tommytran) lives right down the street from me, so I think when we do stuff, he'll always cruise over. sh**, he could ride a bike or skateboard and get here pretty quick. So he wouldnt have an excuse for not making it, hehe. j/p

hell yeah, definately. Im gonna be home with the kids, and when their asleep gonna drink some 40s with my friends. So I'll be home for sure. Theirs like this african beehive out front my house or something though. Its crazy, I was smokin a cig and I hear a really loud buzzing like ahive of bees, like the sound from movies when theirs hundreds. I looked up and like 4 inches above my head there were bees flyin everywhere. I was like holy sh**. I told my mom about them and she said they come for a day and move on, but they were there yesterday too, just more of them today by like 10 times. One of them tried to fly over me, and I ducked away, I saw him piss or something in the sun. There was a liquid that came out as he was flyin over. I have never seen that, nor did I know they did that. Crazy.

Check it out, BTW. here are some pics:

I went through it, and it seems to be very complete. Shouldnt be a damn thing missing. Some of the directions sucked, they were from japan, and you know they didnt speak any english whoever wrote them. They were words that dont go together at all. Ill have to show ya les, its funny. You can somewhat understand what they were trying to say, but not always. SHouldnt be hard though, it is pretty simple looking. Ive been staring at it for a while, looking at how everything goes together, I think Ill havea good understanding of it when it comes time. and well have a lot of help

I need to know who's comin. If only a few people I can probably get some steaks. But if a bunch, Ill get some burgers.

Hey bro, I'll be there FOR SURE so count me in! I need to see how this kit runs before I buy it The price seems so good and getting a clutch for that cheap is a hell of a deal so I want to be there to see the improvement overall. If you need, I can bring some food/drinks, or whatever we need.

Start a list of who will be showing up on Sat. that way we know. Maybe other people can bring some stuff too.

hell yeah. If there arent too many people, I can probably get some steaks, and need some chips, beer, and whatnot. Ill figure out how many people, and whats goin on for food. You can say what you want as well, and we can go from there. PIMP!

Tonight I put all the piping, and all the lines together, so I know exactly how everything should go. The A/C looks like it may be a prob, but I havent looked under my hood since I put it together. It should all go pretty smoothly. I looked at the electronics for a while, and will a few more times before the install as well. Gonna know exactly what wires go where, how to do it, where to put them. I need a source other than my 12v cigarrete lighter, though. Does anybody know of a 12v source I can tap a wire into (I cut mine too short a long time ago, actually a friend did) so its no good, maybe, but I dont trust it and it doesnt always work, cant have that as the source.

I know somebody can solder thats coming, would you like to do it for me?? I have never done it, and dont want to be ghetto about the install. I'll just let you know what to where and you can double check me incase Im wrong (anybody)

My only other concern is, the kit says to retard the timing a couple degrees. I am not sure if thats for the superior kit (which has no fuel system) or for mine as well. The directions refer to both setups. If I have to, can it be done stock, or do I need a Adjustable timing gear? Thanks a lot Peeps!

oh, and I wont be installing the clutch. In another week or two I will have the clutch, and bring it to my friend at Midas. he can resurface my flywheel and install it for probably like 20 or 30 bucks. He will also maybe need to modify my exhaust until I can get a mandrel bent one. Does anybody know a good cheap shop? Maybe the people who tune me can throw one on first. That will be a few weeks though, Ill run a tad rich for now. I have presets for my car that I can program in that came with the kit.

So thats a little of my plan, than once its all done done, It will be niiiiiice. And I can start saving for some better stuff for my motor.

At least it should be up and boosted by saturday early afternoon. Than time for a cruise.

Just be sure you break it in Chris. You don't want to be getting on it right away and OOPS there goes $2700 dollars down the drain so take it easy when first installed.

Actually you dont have to break it in,to wait to get on it. A good portion of the time a turbo's installed, it is tuned directly after at WOT. I definately wont get on it much for a little while, but it should be ok. I would work my way up a lttle bit. My neighbor was like, nah just get on it see what it can do, but dont drive it like that all the time. So it should be chill.

The only fitment issue is hopefully, where the downpipe connects to the manifold, it came with 3 screw things, but they dont fit at all. Either they could be tapped larger, or welded on. I'll probably have it welded on, if I ever need to take it off, I can weld it to take it off.

So you don't need to get your car tuned with the kit?

where the downpipe connects to the manifold??? I thought it connected to the exhaust housing on the turbo...
