yeah, don't answer the door for the process server guy if you can hold out like 120 days or so and you will be home free, I think. Well thats what my dad did atleast and got out of a $500 ticket!

First they send a letter, then a certified letter (which you refuse or tell your mailman you won't take), then they send a process server (which you'll pay for if they hand you the ticket), then if they can't find you they drop it. Beware, however, that the process erver will hand it to any adult (I hear) who answers the door. From what I hear you can't get one if a) you live outside (car is registered) of maricopa county or b) the address on your license is a PO box.
ya, my parents wouldn't let me work on my car outside for a while until it cleared but atleast he got out of the payment. Just be careful about being outside for too long.

Those process servers are sneaky though...they'll notice things like the newspaper being taken in...they'll leave cards on the front door and check to see if its gone the next time...they know more than you think
Now, if the picture isnt a clear representation of you, then it cant be proved that you were driving at the time. Ive seen photo radar pics where people were wearing masks...

Yeah but I heard that the car get the ticket now rather than the person. That way you can't say "it wasn't me driving". They either force you to pay the fine or tell them who was driving. You can't say my car was stolen (wheres the police report) and you can't say it was a friend (cuz then they'd want to know who it was.) Am I right or wrong?
the pic in the letter is different than the high quality one they have...there is a website in the ticket that will show the actual picture.
you dont have to tell them who was driving...just say it looks like a guy you had a 3 some with that you sent get more lube and rubbers...just make them uncomfortable for asking.
