Crazy Guy in Accord

Alright, so I am in Ann Arbor driving around with one of my friends when we pull up to a stop sign. I am turning left onto a 2 lane road, and this black civic with shaved emblems is going really ****ing slow. I didnt think that anyone was behind him so I made my turn to the left. Little did I know, that this Accord was speeding up going the other way. So big deal, the guy has to apply a little pressure to his brakes and shake off the encounter and move on (to be frank, there was about 7-8 yards between me and him when I had finished turning, so it really wasnt close at all).

Instead this old guy in this beat up previous gen (96-00) Accord completely stops and starts yelling sh!t at me, lots of curses, lots of derogatory terms that would just be censored on this site. I ignore him, put my windows up and make a right turn (in his field of vision) into this strip mall because we were looking for job openings in town.

This crazy old guy in his Accord (that had sustained pretty heavy damage to the trunk and rear bumper) comes out of nowhere, he was driving on the wrong side of the road trying to get side by side with me (this is in a shopping area on the road that is right in front of all the stores) and I speed up cause I dont want to f*ck with this crazy guy. Instead, he guns it, cuts me off and slams on the brakes and opens up his door to try and keep me from getting out. As he does this, I gun it and spin around him.

Then I had to circle back around the parking lot to exit where I came from because he was blocking the only exit. I was going about 70 in this parking lot, pushing my tires and suspension to the limit on the turns to get out. I then had to wait at the stop light where he could have followed me and done something to me for about 20 seconds. Finally the light changed and I gunned it out of there.

Later my friend wanted to find the guy and flick him off, but at the time we were pretty f#cking scared.

Hows that for crazy people who cant handle daily driving??

Hit his door with your car. He will lose a door and you'll get some dents.

You should of appologized for cutting the dood off and tried to defuse the situation right then and there. If he's still harrassing you, pull into a public place and call the cops. Try to get his license plate number in case he actually were to do something to you and ran away.

Situations like this are not worth getting shot over or put in a hosiptal for.

Yep.. I'm 20.. now I can look into concealed liscenses in texas..
I'm not dumb, but in this kind of situation I would tell him to back off, and if he proceed, I would let him understand he needed to get back in his car and leave.
It doesn't sound like you did anything, and people that flip like that and just dumb.

*story: (just incase you didn't care to read, it was a warning)

I was pulling out of school , h.s., (before any mods to the car) andthere are basically 3 columns of people that try to get out this 1 exit... Well I had been patiently waiting to leave for about 4 or 5 minutes, all of the sudden this guy in a black mustang comes barelling up to the 'line' next to me, well everyone is going 1 by 1 by 1 in good order. Well, this guy decides that the 2 seconds he has been waiting was enough and is on the guys bumper in front of him.. well me being about order I pull up, of course im not gonna let this ******* get in front just because he is in a 'mustang', and I knew of the guy and he was a **** all the time too..

So I pull into the exit becuase it's my turn, and he punches it, and slams the brakes not to hit me, slams his hands on the honk for at least 5 or 6 seconds while flicking me off with both hands.. well the exit turns into a right , or left and strait. I'm going left, he is turning right. I pull up in front at the light and then so does he, he is mad doggin me.. his girl was ok, but nothin special, especially since he always tries to be a bad ass. anyway.. He looks over, I have my windows down.. so I look over, check out his girl for a half sec (literally 1/2 a second) look back at him smile and waive...

About 3 days later I ran near him in the hall, he goes 'dont talk to me fag', I just smiled and said.. 'sure thing'.

___
Point is, people get the feeling they were wronged and take driving TOO seriously. When I have to slam my breaks at 50 to a stop (hoping i dont get rear-ended) becuase of an unsafe left turn, which are unsafe (all 3 in 1 day min you) I just go on about my business..

People get so stressed out driving that they flip.. BTW: it doesn't surprise me a guy like that had his front and rear bumper covers messed up... that's motivation for him to get angry, but it is still incredibly irresponsible to go to that extreme instead of just maybe a honk.

First off, the way the guy cut me off, I was almost sure he had a gun or a knife, cause he would have gotten the shit beaten out of him (he was old, and we were two young healthy adults). Secondly, the encounter, IMO, did not even warrant a honk because it was not close at all (the main problem was that I took the turn slow for no reason).

I would have gotten my friends together to beat the sh!t out of that Mustang driver, what an idiot. Then I would have made fun of the ugliness of his girlfriend in front of him when he is with her. That would teach him not to mess with modded Civics.
