Most of you guys know that im not really big on street racing, but this was too good to pass up.
Alright, I am driving to CatalystsGrl's house to take her home, when a silver SRT-4 blows past me. I am thinking, "ok, nice car." and kept on my way. But about 10 Seconds later another one (red) passes me. i was like "Wow, two of them, and this one had a loud BOV." So i was kinds in the mood when a lancer Passes me. This one looked completely stock, but had an EVO wing on it (not saying it's an evo, but it is a possibility). So they slow down and start their "wanna race?" sh*t. So i downshift and suprise them. Then all 3 of them come up, sit next to us, then get on it. So i downshift again, and start pulling on all 3 of them. By the end, it was like this:
(front) (back)
Me ----------- silver SRT4---Lancer----redSRT4
When i slowed back down, the guys (and their girls) came up beside me and just looked like "what the hell is in his car?". Then i had to turn, and all 3 of them cruised off.
I was running 8 psi. Nothing went wrong, and everything worked as it should have. And DAMN did it feel good!

it is pretty loud. I have been messing with different spring tensions, and found the loudest. We made this BOV on a lathe, so it is custom. I may be installing the Turbo XS ones that come with the kit. I am gonna take which ever one is the loudest.

why? i thought he was pushing something like 210ish whp at 8psi, and it definately was an OZ lancer otherwise it would have dominated all three... i think Catalyst easily beat them

Because the SRT's dyno with higher number at the wheels than that stock. And if he heard the BOV on one of them its a good chance they are modded even lightly. Dollar mods and boost controllers easily drop the SRT's into 13s and they can beat even an Evo at a high enough launch speed. I seriously doubt he beat the SRT at only 8 psi.. especially if it only has 210 whp.
