That autobahn is amazing. I was tooling along at 120 MPH in a company car for 100 or so mile and Merecedes and some little red sports cars were passing me like I was sitting still. Near an interchange I came up on what looked like stopped trafffic, lots of brake lights. I braked as hard as I could and when I got slowed down to their speed, they were doing 80. hahahah Strange perception, kinda scary.

some of them. Opel is owned by Cadillac. the only Opel that Cadillac have brougt in to the US is the Catera. wich is actually the OPEL Omega. Decent car, that was suppose to compete with BMW's 5 series. One of the few RWD Cadillacs left.

"I know Solo only comes one minute at a time, but what an intense, non-stop, fast-forward car control exercise minute it is. Sure, the velocity is higher in road racing, but inside the car it is slow-motion in comparison. In Solo, the turns come like machine-gun rounds. "

The Opel Senator was nice, but slow. It was a company tire test car we picked up in Luxembourg. We had it for two weeks and it did everything right, but just didn't have much for acceleration.
I remember the small opels that were imported years ago during the 60's and 70's. GM imported them to get increased gas mileage. They competed with VW, Datsun, Pinto, etc. I believe they were sold at Buick dealers. There were quite a few around, but I never drove one. Then they just sorta disappeared from the US.
i call BS on this race story and all your other ones too. dude since you have a LX...that's 1.7L non-vtec and sohc w/ lower compression...that impossible to pull 210whp @ 8psi. you're telling everyone here that you gained 100+whp @ 8psi...LOL what BULLSHIT! oooo wow a bigger downpipe and exhuast...still not gonna net 100+whp from a LX d17 motor. the T3 isn't even that big of a turbo. also...lower compression makes less power with a turbo, but it is obviously safer to run. lol freeway monster...NOT! i'll run you on the freeway for money if you're down. why don't you stop bs'ing before far superior cars show that you still own the lowest jap tuner car there is.
also...plz tell me how you "supposedly" beat a rsx type-s pushing n2o? there are 6 guys on clubrsx that use n2o and actually ran it at the track. the slowest one just had aem cai and a 50 shot. he pulled a 13.7. so i don't wanna hear how your civic lost over 3 secs off the 1/4 just with the mods you have at a pussie 8psi.
easy there buddy, we were just having a discussion on this topic, not an all out flame war. first things first, we got a little more respect around here than that. Nobody asked for the criticism and negative attitude. Our cars are nowhere as easy to tune as the dc5 is, so give us the benefit of the doubt when we actually get an awesome turbo setup going. Just cause u dont think it so or possible dont make it impossible. From what I've learned and heard Catalyst and Stafford Fabrications have done an incredible job.I give them 100% crediblility.
Just for your information , u have to take into account lots of variables when racing, wind, elevation, ambient temp and etc. Lower compression also allows the tuner to run more boost within a safer range. I really dont care if yours is a dual, a built and tuned single will run with the best. V-tec aint always everything either, does sr-20det mean anything to you. I just think your post was just to ease a case of a bruised ego. I'm not knocking any dc5 out there, they're awesome cars. My friend has a black rsx-s with the cybernation stage 1 kit. Fast car ,slow driver. By the end of summer i will hopefully have the funds for a arctic blue rsx-s. I am still keeping my civic, because its my first car and everything i put into it came out of my pocket. Not bad for a 17 year-old, huh. By the way its a d17, non v-tec, lx.

let me see here.... the lx has an extremely large 1 3/4" stock exhaust, with some badass NGK plugs, not to mention a sweet stock air intake. So i think that by removing all those high quality parts, and installing some custom, hand made, go fast parts... I think it would gain some power.
Also, look at my previous dyno. 165 whp @ 5 psi with all stock stuff. Remove that exhaust and replace with a custom 2 1/2" and put in some denso plugs, tune the fuel system (it was running 10:1 a/f on that dyno), and you are gaining some power.
And i think you dont know how to read, because i said i beat that RSX when he didnt use the juice, then lost when he did.
Another thing, IM AT 2800 FT above sealevel!. Since i saw you in riverside, and you said you wanted to race but didnt say anything, i would think that you were a little scared. you talked big before the meet, then stood back and watched when we got there.
Again, our combo on that turbo can produce over 350whp on a 4 cyl. i know because we did it. So if you say little turbo, you are mistaken. So back off unless you know what your talking about. And i know you dont know sh!t about turbos, because of everything you just said.
And since you think your RSX is soo sweet that you can beat anything, i have a 96 accord 4 door here who wants to race you. Stock engine with a little boost. he said anytime you want to run, just say the place.
btw, before he sleeved the cylinders, ported & polished the head, got powder rods, and JE pistons, and only 8 psi of boost, he was pulling 14.0 @ 105 mph.
Oh yea, mopar wants to race you in his 3/4 ton diesel truck. Stock engine, stock turbo.
He only runs 56 psi of boost. he pulled off a 14.0 @ 100 as well.
So when you want to lose to a few of the most under estimated cars around, just say. Until you do, give a little more respect before you come onto my thread and try to start sh!t.
